Weekly fees:

Weekly fees are due in advance.  The weekly fee should be paid by the Friday before care is given.  If payment is not received on time, a late fee of $10.00 per day will be added to your account.  Checks will not be held.  All payments will be processed on the day they are received.  By Friday afternoon if your account is not paid in full, including all late fees, your child will not be allowed to return to the center.  Please see the director if you have any questions or if special arrangements need to be discussed.  The Director reserves the right to dismiss any child for payments not received.

Weekly fees must be paid whether your child is present, absent, sick or well, or whether Kid’s Harbor Learning Center is open or closed for holidays, severe weather, power outages, or evacuations.  We will close our center in accordance with local area school closures in the event of severe weather.  While we understand an absence is unavoidable, we still have to maintain our cost of operations.  If an evacuation is called, the owner will consider the time involved and make a decision as to whether payment will be owed or waved. Your weekly payment ensures your child’s place at our center and will hold their space until they return.  If you are removing your child from Kid’s Harbor a TWOWEEK NOTICE is required in writing or billing will continue as stated in the handbook.  You will be responsible for continued payment if no notice is given. 

For families with more than one child, weekly rates are full rates for the youngest child.  The second oldest is 20% off his/her weekly fee.  The third oldest and all others will receive 30% off his/her weekly fee.  This only applies to siblings not extended families.  This method of payment is exclusive only to children enrolled fulltime for at least a period of six months. Siblings only enrolled for the summer months will not be granted a week of vacation. 

Other Payments: 

Payments made through organizations that offer assistance, such as Catholic Charities, are due in full on the first of the month.  If full payments are not made by the third of the month the organization will be called, and you will be dropped from enrollment.  Fees not paid on the first will accumulate late fees at a rate of $10 per day.  Kid’s Harbor reserves the right to charge additional fees to make up the difference between our rates and the amount we are reimbursed by Catholic Charities.  You will be notified if an additional amount is due.

Late Pick-up fees

Children must be picked up by 6:00pm or an additional late fee of $10.00 for the first ten minutes and $5.00 for each additional minute will be due at the time of pick-up.  If this is not paid when you pick up your child you will not be able to return the following day. 

Late pick-up fees will apply to children enrolled for preschool only, as well as children in attendance all day.  Late pick-up fee for preschool only children will apply beginning at 11:30 am.

If you are called to pick up your child due to an illness, behavior, or any other reason, you will be given 30 minutes in which to have your child picked-up.  If your child is not picked up during the allotted time your account will be charged a late pick up fee, as stated above, added to your account.  See Illness-Disease

Returned ACH fees:

Cash payment is expected for the amount of the overdraft ACH payment plus a $50.00 service fee.  After two returned payments, your account will be cash only.  We will not re-run the ACH payment, as it will be your responsibility to come in and take care of the balance. If payment is not taken care of in a timely manner, we have the right to dismiss your child from the center. 

Re-enrollment fees

Should a child be dropped from enrollment and then re-enrolled within a four-week time frame, a fee of $55.00 per child will be charged.  After that time period a registration fee of $40.00 per family will be charged.

Refunds

If you are due a refund for any reason, you must wait fifteen working days to receive it.  All refunds are subject to owners discretion.

Supply Fee

All children 18 months and up will have a supply fee of $35 per child payable each August and February.  The fee will cover arts and crafts, construction paper, crayons, markers, etc.  This fee is due by the 10th of the month.  A late fee of $10 per day will accrue if not paid by this time.

Miscellaneous fees:  You will be notified in advance of any additional fees such as field trips, pictures, etc.
